The School of Business and Public Administration makes every effort to support the success and growth of all students. With programs designed to meet the needs of businesses of every size and industry, BPA students and graduates are well-prepared to address the challenging issues facing businesses and organizations in our region. We have built and continue to maintain strong relationships with local business, government and nonprofit agencies throughout Kern County. It is with these relationships that we are able to offer BPA students Internship and Job Opportunities specific to their chosen careers and in return those business retain highly qualified interns and future employees.

Marketing Manager 

  • Serve as the editor-in-chief by coordinating with internal and external teams to develop the appropriate voice and tone for marketing materials to establish immediate rapport and credibility with prospective customers.
  • Create, coordinate, and manage a brand marketing calendar that captures all brand-building activities and communications across the company.
  • Lead the public relations strategy to increase awareness of AptoZen’s offerings.
  • Create and execute a robust multi-channel communications that will drive high adoption and utilization of products to maximize impact on business success.
  • Identify, measure, and regularly report on key performance indicators related to brand equity and affinity.


Centre for Neuro Skills

Healthcare Marketing Liaison

Identifies and coordinates opportunities to provide in-service training to referral sources.  Attends or participates in local, regional and national professional conferences as a representative of CNS.  Attends and participates in assigned trade shows.  Sets up booth, moves boxes of marketing materials and display wall containers weighing up to 40 pounds as required.  Stands on feet for up to 4 hours at a time. Maintains documentation on competitors in the assigned area, including current fees and pricing information.  Requires extensive use of computer, telephone, and FAX machine. Travels within and outside the assigned regional area to achieve sales and marketing goals.  Attends and participates in the National Marketing and Admission Meeting (or equivalent) held approximately every 6 months. Participates in weekly Referral Status Conference Calls(s) to communicate status of direct referral development activities and learn of relevant activities in the facilities.  Meetings are usually by telephone but may be in person.

Leadership Development Program

  • Participate in a dynamic training program with a rotation of learning sales, photography and business leadership
  • Prospect for new business
  • Create and deliver customized sales presentations
  • Deliver quality photography and customer service
  • Drive top line sales and identify operational efficiencies to maximize bottom line profits
  • Work with the management team to plan and direct the work of the territory schedule
  • Act as a positive role model in the territory organization; work effectively with others
  • Participate in weekly and quarterly reviews with your Territory Manager and other company leadership; complete weekly reports and assignments in an effective and timely manner
  • Create a comprehensive individual development plan to further develop competencies critical to success

The Director of Bee Operations has direct responsibility for all national Bee operations, which currently includes operations in California and Florida. The role manages all facets of Bee operations including strategic planning, process improvement, employee relations, problem resolution and P&L responsibility. This position must build and develop the operation's organization, processes and procedures to support strategic direction. This position will report to the Vice President of Agricultural Services. 


Ultimate Staffing Services

Logistics Specialist

Supports logistics by conducting, data collection, extrapolation, reporting, and scheduling activities of over 30 thousand barrels of trucked crude oil per day and tracks transportation cost. Communicates directly with customers to provide logistics information, and works diligently to provide consistently high levels of customer service at all times.
