The School of Business and Public Administration makes every effort to support the success and growth of all students. With programs designed to meet the needs of businesses of every size and industry, BPA students and graduates are well-prepared to address the challenging issues facing businesses and organizations in our region. We have built and continue to maintain strong relationships with local business, government and nonprofit agencies throughout Kern County. It is with these relationships that we are able to offer BPA students Internship and Job Opportunities specific to their chosen careers and in return those business retain highly qualified interns and future employees.
The California Department of Taxes and Fees Administration has the following opportunities for accounting students and alumni.
We currently have a Learning Specialist position available within Athletics that will primarily assist with the academics of the Men's Basketball Team on a variety of subjects.
Qualifications: Must be a CSUB student (currently enrolled minimum of 6 units) junior level or higher. Must have skills and abilities to perform job functions, mainly working in a fast paced academic environment, ability to motivate and encourage academic success, and versatility with social science subjects. Must have a 3.0 GPA or above.
Tutoring duties differ from other tutors on campus as sessions will be scheduled based on the schedule of the team. Availability MUST match the schedule listed below.
Monday: 1-3 PM
Tuesday: 9 AM-1 PM
Thursday: 9 AM-1 PM
Friday: 9:30 AM-12 PM
Sunday: 5-8:30 PM
Minimum of 17.5 hours and up to 20 hours allowed per week. $15/hr
