Atieh received her PhD from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She holds a BS in Computer Engineering-Software and a M.SC in industrial engineering-System Management and Productivity. Her professional experience includes three years in the field of computer science including database design and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Her main research interests are artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data analytics, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). She is interested in the effect of such technologies on users’ behavior. Her research has been published on Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Consumer Satisfaction, Dissatisfaction and Complaining Behavior and Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research. She also has presented her research in the AMA, AMS and SMA. She also has served as an ad-hoc reviewer for several journals and conferences including Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, International Journal of Retail and Distribution, American Marketing Association, Academy of Marketing Science and Society for Marketing Advances.
